This is an excellent opportunity with an exceptional footwear brand. One where the Commercial Director will take responsibility for overseeing European wholesale business development and operations.
This position will suit a person who has gained considerable experience of working with branded footwear and who is ready for a new adventure within a forward moving business with great product.
Responsibilities will include:
To lead the growth of the business across Europe and to establish and implement the strategies to support the wholesale and e commerce growth
Expand the Distribution network and drive the Brand awareness
Oversee and align European marketing strategies to the global business
Collaborate with the Global team to agree the marketing strategies for e commerce and traditional retail
Manage budgets and forecasting and take full responsibility for the P & L whilst partnering closely with the Finance team
Drive the growth of e commerce wholesale and export sales
Manage and implement processes and procedures that will support the business objectives
Identify new market and business opportunities’
Lead recruitment, development and training for the European team
As the Commercial Director for Europe it is expected that you are educated to Degree level and have exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
Financially astute and proficient using spreadsheets
Whilst you will naturally be results orientated you will also need to be flexible. A true team orientated person who enjoys collaboration.
Excellent planning ability and attention to detail are important along with good decision making and negotiating skills
Additional European language skills will be beneficial although not essential.
Wholesale branded footwear experience is required
