This is a great opportunity for a mid to senior level manager to focus on accessories and apparel
As a Global Product Line Manager you will be responsible for ensuring seasonal collections that are commercial and reflect consumer trends and market requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
Carrying out market research and agreeing GTM strategies for each season
Identifying market gaps and keeping up to date with new market trends
Carrying out competitor analysis
With your team creating product briefs and providing product direction. Recommending the retail price points and also the volume requirements
You will manage the seasonal collections from concept stage to ensure commercial product and this will require you to work closely with the creative team and have accountability for commercial product for the global market
Manage budgets and oversee costing to ensure margins are achieved. Collaborating with the Creative and production team for re sourcing of fabric and trimmings
You will naturally need to be able to analyse global performance of your categories and be able to make accurate seasonal forecasts
The position will require you to be there for new season launches and to be a great presenter and true Ambassador for the Brand.
The Global Product Line Manager will need to have operated in a similar position. You may be a Category Manager or Merchandise Manager for a Brand. You will definitely be a person who loves working with product and someone who has had the opportunity to operate international and understand different market requirements. A true appreciation of the product development process is required and as well as your excellent commercial skills we are looking for a person who is a confident communicator and comfortable giving presentations.
The position will require UK and International travel
