This is an opportunity for a forward thinking well connected Sales Director of Ladies Fashion to establish and develop a UK office on behalf of a significant manufacturer of ladies fashion clothing
This well established business currently supplies major retailers within the USA and Europe and is one which has gained an excellent reputation for fashion led product. Merchandise that is produced to good price points and high quality standards.
The Sales Director of Ladies Fashion will be responsible for developing further business with established customers. Recognizing new business opportunities . Developing and implementing new strategies and establishing new retail accounts
Managing a small team which will include providing guidance to a UK based Designer.
Keeping up to date with market trends for product and fabrics
Presenting to the major retailers and taking responsibility for managing expectations with product
Negotiating prices and time frames
Liaising with the overseas offices and establishing and managing critical paths
The Sales Director will need to have an excellent network of High Street retail contacts within the UK and may also have good retail contacts within other European countries
Private label experience is essential and you will need to have worked with ladies volume fashion garments
Experience of working directly with factories within Asia and South East Asia is required and you will need to be prepared to travel occasionally.
