This is an excellent opportunity with a significant supplier of ladies fashion who are part of an international business. They now have an opportunity for an Account Manager to take responsibility for their account with Primark.
Based at the London office the position will require regular travel to Dublin to meet with buyers
The responsibilities :
Responsibilities will include :
Management of specific departments to assist in increasing sales and profitability.
Maximise opportunities for additional business
Build strong ongoing business relationships
Working closely with the design team in London and ensuring the continuous development of new product ranges which reflect the customer requirements .
Presenting product and making recommendations based on your appreciation of production costs
Keep up to date with new market trends
Negotiations on cost and selling prices and working to agreed target margins.
Follow through the sampling process for garments and ensure on time delivery through continuous liaison with the product merchandising team
Resolve potential problems and ensure compliance as appropriate .
The Account Manager:
You will need to have experience of working in a front facing position as an Account Manager or Sales Manager and have the ability to work well within a fast moving environment ,
whilst keeping up to date with the detail. Candidates from a buying background will also be of interest for this vacancy. Previous experience of managing accounts within Primark will be beneficial
