This successful brand is planning to scale their business to higher levels and seeks an experienced SVP to take on the expansion plans.
Great scope for a person with a strong wholesale background and an excellent understanding of different retail channels within the fashion/ lifestyle areas.
Responsibilities will include:
Establishing strategies and working cross functionally.
Developing strategic sales plans and establishing the monthly and annual sales objectives for the different regions and markets.
Establishing new channels of distribution within different markets and territories.
Developing and supporting your senior management team.
Overseeing the inventory and ensuring information is kept up to date.
Taking direct responsibility for achieving sales and margins across the American/Canadian markets.
P &L for your markets of responsibility
A strong wholesale background with good retail knowledge. Accustomed to working within the fashion industry for a recognised apparel or accessories Brand. Experience of operating at SVP level and in depth experience of working with retailers across the Americas. You will of course need to have the right to live and work within the USA and be happy and able to travel as required.
Naturally you will need to be a person accustomed to giving presentations and to providing leadership to sales teams for multi-million revenue business. A well-developed financial ability is essential, as are excellent negotiating, influencing and IT skills.
