Description:

This highly successful multi-Brand retailer are seeking a Merchandise Director to take responsibility for providing vision and delivering inventory business plans

The person will be responsible for overseeing merchandise planning OTB, stock flow through to achieving sales and profit margins for multiple brand stores  across the Middle East

Responsibilities will include :

Providing strategies to support the achievement of overall sales and margins .

Collaboration with stakeholders to influence and drive short- and long-range merchandise strategies

Provision of a quantitative approach to analyse inventory of each brand . Forecast and re forecast

Ensuring timely management of the OTB, allocation and replenishment and terminal stock to support achievement of margin targets

Leading a team of business managers .

Developing strong host brand communication and business relationships

Working closely with supply chain

Maintaining excellent internal and external business relationships with third parties

Overseeing Brand positioning , analysis, forecasting and financial performance for the Brand within different countries and regions

Providing monthly P & L information .

The Person

Executive level experience of budget preparation/ financial planning with the ability to develop price architecture across categories .

Large format store environment / multi apparel / accessories product categories and international experience .

Multi-channel experience of benefit

Exceptional strategic and commercial skills.

Ability to lead a senior and diverse management team
