This successful  Fashion  Brand is seeking a Finance & Operations Director to oversee the areas of financial planning, internal operations , distribution and logistics

You will  be part of the senior leadership  team that will drive business  growth .

Responsibilities will include :

Establishing strategies to  improve day to day operations

Financial planning  and  forecasting plus evaluation of  overall  financial performance

Introducing new  cost saving initiatives

Overseeing the  audits and tax reporting

Providing regular  financial and operations reports to the Board

 

Keeping up to date with compliance and legislation and clearly  conveying any changes to employees

Leading and managing   a team  across departments.

 

Managing the  distribution and logistics budgets and implement the best processes and procedures  to optimise  service levels and support business sales.

Building and managing relationships with external suppliers .

Carrying out  risk assessment  for succession and disruption

Establishing  mid and longer term  strategies for the  distribution operations , inventory management  and order fulfilment .

Creating new performance measures to  meet and exceed  agreed targets.

Manage and negotiate agreements  with 3rd party providers.

You will naturally work closely with wholesale and retail teams and ensure clear communication

 

Management of logistics to achieve on time shipments to meet customer and business requirements .

Liaison with the  international suppliers  , freight forwarders  and customs

Managing loss and damage claims and resolving problems

 

The person we seek  will be educated to Degree level   with a financial  qualification  such as ACCA or CIMA and will be expected to have  several years’  industry experience

You will need to have  worked for a recognised  fashion/ lifestyle  apparel/ sports/ accessories  brand or retailer.

Excellent IT skills such as  ERP / D365 / and Business Intelligence software are required

Be able to work within a fast paced environment and be happy to be hands on.

Excellent people leadership  and communication skills .
