This is a great commercial opportunity for a Sales Manager or Buyer with sound Category Management experience to take responsibility for developing established and new business within the developing markets of the MENA regions.
As a Senior Manager you will manage sales growth and have responsibility for establishing business plans. This will include forecasting and agreeing budgets with your customers and looking at the best ways to achieve desired T/O and margins
Giving seasonal range presentations
Advising on product selection based on sales analysis of the key accounts.
Management of sell in and sell through along with control of inventory levels
You will ensure training is provided for visual merchandising and that high retail standards are maintained
Visit customers on a regular basis and carry out store audits in order to make improvements as required
The position will require you to work closely with different departments from visual merchandising to marketing and buying .
Your focus will be on achieving realistic sales and profits for the brand and your retail customers.
Educated to Degree level you will need to have gained several years’ experience as a Key Account Manager , Sales Manager , Buyer or Category Manager with a recognized sports or lifestyle brand for apparel, footwear or accessories . Excellent communication skills are required along with a good understanding of the merchandise selection process. This and well developed IT, commercial and strategic skills .
International experience will be beneficial and a knowledge of the Middle East will be useful but is not essential.
