Ready for Interim Contract or Freelance?
We are living in a fast paced world where technology is progressing at great speed.
Everyone wants everything now. Not next week or next month. We are impatient and don’t like to wait!
However when it comes to the recruitment process some companies can move at the pace of a snail.
Uncertain or risk adverse? If you have arranged interviews and are moving slowly the impact is that your candidates may lose interest or of course the best are employed by your competition! Not what you want.
If you have a recruitment need delaying the process won’t benefit the business. If you are being indecisive due to economic uncertainty then in some cases a fixed term contract could work well. An interim manager or contractor / freelance person for a specific project or time frame.
The person gets to understand your business and you can appreciate if he/she is a good fit for the longer term. Of course this will not work at every level and it will restrict your choice, but it is less of a risk and is a positive approach.
