This is a great opportunity for a Sales Director Fashion to take responsibility for developing a London sales office that is focused on supplying denim and woven fashion apparel to major retailers
We are seeking a person with a very sound commercial background who is accustomed to working with the multiple fashion retailers within the UK and potentially Europe.
Responsibilities will include:
Developing established business and identifying new opportunities.
Establishing and implementing the strategies for the opening and development of new business accounts
and for achieving sales and margins
Managing the process from the concept stage.
Taking responsibility for presentations and for negotiating prices , and delivery terms.
Overseeing the key critical paths and resolving potential problems
Implementing new processes and overseeing operations
Provide guidance to the design and development team
As this is a business with its own manufacturing facilities you will visit the factories as required.
Attend trade shows and carry out market research to keep up to date with new market developments
Provide sales reports to the Board Directors
The Sales Director Fashion sought will need to have in depth private label experience and be accustomed to working with suppliers in many different countries
Previous experience of working with Bangladesh and India will be beneficial and it is essential that you are accustomed to operating at a senior management level and are very well connected with the major multiple fashion retailers .
A sound knowledge of ladies woven fashion garments is required and previous experience of working with denim will be highly advantageous
